The bill was part of a grassroots effort by state residents who will now have access to NDs as part of their healthcare team. Massachusetts is the second state to pass a bill in the last two months, with Pennsylvania adopting a similar measure in November. Meanwhile, leaders in naturopathic medicine have updated a naturopathic guide to integrative medicine called a “Hierarchy of Healing: The Therapeutic Order.” The document adheres to a set of six principles behind the treatment and focuses on the concept of ordering to help inform and guide application of the principles.
