Registration now open for the fifth annual Dietary Supplements Regulatory Summit in Washington, D.C., May 27

WASHINGTON (Jan. 9, 2020) — Registration is now open for the annual Dietary Supplements Regulatory Summit (DSRS), taking place Wednesday, May 27, at the historic Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. Now in its fifth year, the summit is an intimate, one-day, executive-level conference and networking event in the heart of the nation’s capital.
Once again, this year’s summit will feature updates and insights from top U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials, including the Office of Dietary Supplement Programs, and industry experts, with a focus on dietary supplement regulatory compliance. A reception will follow the summit.

The DSRS is an industry-wide educational event designed specifically for manufacturers, marketers and distributors of dietary supplements and ingredients, along with others in the supply chain, such as testing labs, and related service providers, including legal and marketing firms.

The summit is produced by the four major trade associations of the dietary supplement industry, the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA), the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA), the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) and the United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA).

Early-bird rates are in effect through Feb. 15, and registration discounts apply for members of the four host trade associations.

Key 2020 DSRS topics include:*
  • The regulatory future for CBD
  • DSHEA 2.0
  • Does the future include mandatory product listings?
  • The path to market: New Dietary Ingredients/Generally Recognized as Safe
  • Food Safety Modernization Act
  • Digital marketing and social media
      … and much more!

Speakers and the full agenda and will be posted shortly on the summit registration page. Limited reception sponsorship opportunities are also available. Contact Kira Olsen, UNPA, 801.474.2572 x2, for more information.
