
The American Herbal Pharmacopoeia®(AHP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) California-based organization. The mission of AHP is to promote the responsible use of herbal products and herbal medicines. AHP produces critically reviewed documents called monographs that outline the quality control criteria needed for ensuring the identity, purity, and quality of botanical raw materials. United Plant Savers' mission is to protect native medicinal plants of the United States and Canada and their native habitat while ensuring an abundant renewable supply of medicinal plants for generations to come. Nutritional products are contributed to the Alliance by an ever enlarging association of Vitamin Angels—a consortium of nutritional supplement manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.
